Back in the late 1800s, a Kona newspaper anticipated that Ka‘u coffee would give the famed Kona coffee a run for its money. Now, more than 100 years later, it appears the prediction has come true, with Ka‘u coffee topping all Hawaiian coffees in both local and international cupping and tasting competitions. In 2012 Ka’u coffee Mill was awarded the Hawaii Coffee Associations Certificate of Excellence for its coffee. Coffee Mill’s Ka’u coffee is bright with a rich yet sweet acidity. Distinct floral notes with overtones of plum, tangerines and chocolate.
