Jamaica
Blue Mountain

Mountain Coffee must meet stringent regulations and be grown under specific conditions. Considered one of the best coffees in the world, it is distinguished by its unique location and micro-climate- grown at high altitude on a tropical island where near constant cloud cover gives perfect shading and the cool sea breezes provide ideal moisture.

All of our Jamaica Blue Mountain beans are 100% Grade 1, Screen 17/18, and certified as export quality by The Coffee Industry Board of Jamaica.

Cinchona Estate

Cinchona Estate is on a hill which forms a spur projecting southward from the Blue Mountain range. Founded in 1868 when the British government embarked on experimental cultivation of Cinchona to expand the range of agricultural products of the colony.

From Cinchona one gets a majestic view of Strawberry Hill, the Blue Mountains, Liguanea plains and Kingston. In 2011, St Clair Shirley had the vision to establish a model coffee farm at Cinchona which is only sixty minutes drive from Stoneleigh Coffee Processing Works which allows cherry ripe coffee beans, geisha for the most part, to be pulped, dried and prepared for resting with no delay.

Cup is classic Blue Mountain – balanced aroma, body and acidity, with subtle fruit and floral overtones.

Peaberry

A natural occurring mutation of the normal coffee cherry, whereby only a single bean is produced. These smaller, round beans are characterised by their sweetness and robust flavour.

Coffee beans at different stages of processing - raw coffee beans, coffee cherries, and roasted coffee beans

For micro-roasters, wholesalers, and home roasters, all our coffee varieties are available as green (raw) unroasted beans. Green coffee beans almost never expire. For larger wholesale orders, please contact us via our wholesale page.
