Nuevo Mundo Estate is located in the micro-region of Jarabacoa and owned and operated by Mr Alfredo Diaz. The soil at Nuevo Mundo Estate is not volcanic which tends to be the norm for coffee grown in the Caribbean, instead the coffee benefits from growing in primarily Limestone. The soil contains calcium and other minerals which create a unique taste, making it exceptional even when compared to other speciality coffees on the market. Fully washed, sun dried and shade grown. The cup profile is initially chocolate, changing to orange and sweetly mild plums as the coffee cools down.
