All orders are packed and shipped from our roastery in the UK. We aim to process and ship orders within 1-2 working days, although large orders containing multiple varieties of roasted coffee may take slightly longer.

There are no duties/taxes on shipments to the USA, although orders valued above $800 may be subject to additional checks at customs. If placing a very large order, we recommend splitting it into shipments that total under $800 to avoid possible delays. If you make a large order and DHL contact you for more information, please pass their email on to us and Sea Island Coffee will deal with the order.

The tropical Hawaiian island of Kauai is geologically the oldest of the main Hawaiian Islands. At over 1200 hectares, the Kauai Coffee Company (formerly McBryde Sugar Company) is the largest coffee grower in Hawaii. This venerable coffee varietal (Arabica Typica) is fully washed. The warm Pacific sun, rich volcanic earth, abundant mountain rain and cool trade winds of Kauai create ideal conditions for growing outstanding coffee.
Nutty, medium to high acidity. Best suited to gentle brewing, particularly in a cafetiere.
