A lovely balance with a clean and full body. Tasting notes of citrus and caramel with overtones of red fruit, chocolate, berries, and hints of nuts at the end.

The MIMA cooperative was founded in 2018 and is run entirely by 30 women in the Avaratriniavo region of Itasy, Madagascar. It is led by a lady called Raozilala, the leader of a women's association beforehand. When she heard about an opportunity to grow and sell coffee, she convinced the other women in the association to get involved in the coffee project, and that's how the MIMA cooperative was born.
The MIMA cooperative produces a Red Bourbon Arabica coffee which is grown in the shade of banana and avocado trees, sun dried in raised beds and processed naturally. The coffee trees flower in July and coffee is harvested in May/June of each year.
