About Our Gift Sets

Roasting

We roast all our coffee beans in small artisanal batches each day to preserve freshness and consistency. All ground coffee is ground to order just before shipping, so you can be assured your coffee has arrived as fresh as possible.

The majority of our coffees are medium roasted as a standard, unless otherwise stated on the product page.

Shipping

Sea Island are happy to offer express shipping and tracking to almost every country in the world. For international orders, shipping costs and any duties & taxes are calculated and prepaid for at checkout - Any charges at customs are then dealt with in advance by Sea Island to ensure your coffee is received as quickly as possible.

All orders are packed and shipped from our roastery in the UK. We aim to process and ship orders within 1-2 working days, although large orders containing multiple varieties of roasted coffee may take slightly longer.

Cuba Crystal Mountain

As a treat this Christmas, we've included our showroom exclusive coffee in this limited gift set - Cuba Crystal Mountain. Normally only available at our London retail store, this Cuban coffee is a firm favourite among those who've tried it.

The Crystal Mountain region, where we source our Cuban coffee from, is located at over 800 meters in the Escambray mountain range, and has long been considered the premier coffee growing region inside Cuba. The soil is rich in mica and quartz crystals, hence the name 'Crystal Mountain'. This special soil, combined with a steady mild climate and frequent rains, forms an ideal microclimate for growing this outstanding coffee.

These washed arabica beans are characterized by a highly intense aroma with an elegant, delicate sweetness, and notes of caramel, walnut, and a smoky brown sugar finish.

Due to US sanctions on Cuba, Cuban coffee and indeed all Cuban grown products have become increasingly difficult to sell online - hence we normally reserve this only for our London showroom visitors. For this limited festive period, we offer it again to you on our website in this luxurious gift set.
