Tucked away in Costa Rica’s remote Biolley District, Coffea Diversa is home to the world’s largest private collection of coffee species, varieties, and cultivars, with more than 200 grown across the estate. Founded by renowned varietal specialist Gonzalo Hernandez, this remarkable ‘coffee garden’ preserves rare and near-forgotten coffees within a pristine biodiversity corridor near La Amistad International Park. Its volcanic soil and position between Atlantic and Pacific climates produce coffees of exceptional clarity and complexity. Coffea Diversa is also the only estate to have won Gold, Silver, and Bronze at France’s prestigious AVPA competition.
