St Helena, Wranghams Estate

Wranghams Estate lies above Bamboo Hedge at approximately 550 metres, overlooking St Helena’s historic Sandy Bay. The eighteenth-century estate dates back to the island’s time under the English East India Company. When its current owners arrived in 2014, they discovered an overgrown coffee plantation with only around 30 surviving bushes. These were carefully pruned and restored, with a further 350 bushes propagated from the original plants. Today, Wranghams is once again thriving, producing exceptionally rare coffees that reflect the estate’s remarkable heritage and the distinctive character of St Helena.
