Renowned throughout the world for its incomparable standard of quality and smooth, creamy taste profile, Jamaica Blue Mountain has rightfully earned the nickname of 'The Champagne of Coffee'. Considered one of the best coffees in the world, Jamaica Blue Mountain must meet stringent regulations and be grown under very specific conditions to meet export quality.
The mountains are distinguished by their unique micro-climate and location which provide the ideal circumstances for growing high-quality coffee: at high-altitude on a tropical island, where near constant mist and cloud cover give perfect shading and temperature, and the cool sea breezes provide ideal moisture levels.
Nestled in a ravine of tropical splendour and perched on an incline between 2,000 and 3,000 feet above sea level, Blue Baron Estate has produced the highest quality of Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee for many decades on its 67 acres of coffee. Owned by the Minott family who have been growing and processing coffee for over 70 years, Blue Baron’s trees are harvested up to 20 times over the harvesting period, ensuring that only the very ripest cherries are harvested, pulped, and then fermented with natural spring water.
