About Our Gift Sets

Panama is renowned for producing some of the world’s most exceptional speciality coffees, particularly the highly coveted Panama Geisha (Gesha) beans. Panama’s ideal tropical climate, high altitude, and rich volcanic soil make it a prime location for growing coffee, resulting in some of the most delicious and sought-after coffees in the world.

This gift set features two coffees from Hacienda La Esmeralda, an award-winning estate run by the Peterson family that has consistently achieved record breaking prices at private auction, and produces arguably the finest Geisha coffee in the world. The third coffee is our exceptionally popular Hartmann Estate Geisha, another family owned coffee farm that places a huge emphasis on sustainably farming methods.

Roasting

We roast all our coffee beans in small artisanal batches each day to preserve freshness and consistency. All ground coffee is ground to order just before shipping, so you can be assured your coffee has arrived as fresh as possible.

The majority of our coffees are medium roasted as a standard, unless otherwise stated on the product page.

Shipping

Sea Island are happy to offer express shipping and tracking to almost every country in the world. For international orders, shipping costs and any duties & taxes are calculated and prepaid for at checkout - Any charges at customs are then dealt with in advance by Sea Island to ensure your coffee is received as quickly as possible.

All orders are packed and shipped from our roastery in the UK. We aim to process and ship orders within 1-2 working days, although large orders containing multiple varieties of roasted coffee may take slightly longer.

Hacienda La Esmeralda - Private Collection: A cup notable for its bright citrus acidity, with a bold and juicy body, a floral aroma, and notes of tangerine, rose, and jasmine.

Hacienda La Esmeralda - Grand Reserve: Extremely complex aromatics and flavours, including jasmine and stonefruits, a brilliant and clear acidity, finishing with bergamot notes in the cup.

Hartmann Estate Geisha: A classic Panamanian Geisha profile - a smooth body, with notes of honey, jasmine, orange, and lemongrass, a delicate floral and citrus aroma and a lingering sweet aftertaste.
