Our Costa Rica Geisha gets reviewed by Kenneth Davids, a coffee expert, author, and co-founder of the famous Coffee Review website.
Blind Assessment: Rose-like flowers, honey, sweet chocolate, almond, a hint of fresh-cut fir in aroma and cup. Delicate, crisply sweet acidity; very smooth, silky mouthfeel. Excellent flavor persistence in a clean, rich finish.
Notes: Produced from trees of the rare Ethiopia-derived botanical variety Gesha (also spelled Geisha). With its generally elongated beans and distinctive floral and chocolate cup, the Gesha variety continues to distinguish itself as one of the world’s most unique coffees. Coffea Diversa is owned and operated by two brothers who specialize in unique botanical varieties of Arabica.
Who Should Drink It: Those who enjoy purity, elegance and delicate complexity in a lighter-roasted cup.
